Stephen Szczygiel, CHIA is a hospitality consultant and appraiser bringing a unique combination of hospitality operations, financial analysis, and valuation expertise. He prepares appraisals, feasibility studies, and economic impact analyses for hotels, resorts, waterparks, and leisure properties across the United States. As part of his consulting work, he has analyzed numerous waterparks and waterpark resorts nationwide, evaluating market demand, operational performance, development feasibility, and financial viability for projects ranging from municipal aquatic centers and standalone waterparks to integrated resort developments. This specialized experience provides clients with data-driven insights that support investment decisions and reduce development risk. Before joining Hotel & Leisure Advisors, he held leadership positions with Hilton-branded hotels, the Live! entertainment brand by The Cordish Companies, and Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. He studied Culinary Arts at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, with a concentration in Casino Operations and a minor in Business Administration, from Drexel University.
