FAQs

  • How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

Orlando and Lake Buena Vista, Florida are serviced by Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is located roughly 23 miles from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

As a guest of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, you may make a reservation for Disney’s Magical Express, which provides you with complimentary motor-coach transportation between Orlando International Airport and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. You’ll also enjoy a complimentary ride back to Orlando International Airport on the day you check out of the hotel.

If you prefer another method of transportation or you will be staying somewhere other than Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, please consider one of the following means of transportation:

Mears Transportation Group. Mears passengers share the ride with others going in their direction in comfortable vans. Advanced reservations and pre-payment are recommended. Call +1-407-423-5566 or visit http://www.mearstransportation.com to make a reservation.

Car rentals. At Orlando International Airport, rental car companies are located on the A and B sides of the terminals on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1). If you are planning to stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, please note that you may not need a rental car, since airport transportation is provided and transportation to various Disney theme parks and Disney Springs is available as well.

Taxis. Taxi cab stands are located at both A and B terminals in the center of the Arrivals Level (Level 2). Airport personnel are available to assist as needed. The average taxi price to Disney hotels and resorts is $52-$68. The average price to International Drive is $38-$45.

Uber & Lyft. Ride sharing providers, such as Uber, Lyft and Wingz, may pick-up passengers on the Arrivals curb (Level 2). Prices may vary based on volume.

  • How do I download & use the WWA Show App?

We want you to have the best WWA Show experience possible — leading up to the show and during your time at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s convention center. So we’ve launched a WWA Show App for you to download now and use throughout the coming days.

    Getting started is easy:

    2. Join the WWA Show event by scanning the QR code again or entering the event code: WWA Show 2019

    3. You may access the WWA Show App from your desktop by clicking here. In order to complete the process of joining the App, you will need to receive a verification code via email and enter the code when prompted by the App.

Once you have the App on your mobile device, you will be able to:

    • Review the complete educational schedule by day, pick your favorite sessions and save them into your device’s calendar

    • Review Exhibitor information and find booth numbers
    • Save private notes about sessions, vendor meetings, etc.
  • Do you offer registration options not listed on the Registration page?

Yes, although we encourage as many attendees as possible to come experience everything that we offer at the WWA Show, we know that not everyone can come for the full four days of the show. Hence, we do offer options which enable someone to walk the trade show floor only or attend the full show for just one day.

For more information on pricing and benefits of these additional registration options, please call the WWA Office at +1-913-599-0300 anytime between 9 am CST to 5 pm CST.

Or come see us onsite at the WWA Registration Desk at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s convention center starting at 8:00 am on Monday, October 7, 2019.

  • Why should I pre-register?

We highly recommend that you take the time to register today for two reasons.

First, by pre-registering, you’ll save yourself a lot of time when checking in for the WWA Show. All pre-registered attendees have a name badge and a bag of convention materials ready and waiting for them at the the WWA Registration Area, located in the foyer  area outside the Veracruz Exhibit Hall located within the convention center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The convention center is attached to our primary headquarters hotel, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Most pre-con workshops and courses start at 9 a.m. on October 7th and 8:45 am on the rest of the days, so you’ll give yourself a little extra time on the first day if you can walk up and collect your convention materials before going into your first workshop or class.

Second, we offer substantial pricing discounts for registering before the WWA Show officially begins. We will offer an advanced price on our Symposium Package, which expires on October 6, 2019. Pricing will also go up onsite, so registering before the show saves you money.

  • May I bring a spouse or my family to the WWA Show?

Yes! We know that our host venue, Walt Disney World® Resort, is a popular spot to bring your family along with you to the WWA Show. So, we offer a Spouse/Companion Package for non-industry employed spouses or significant others, as well as a Child Package for children 18 and under who are accompanying their parents to the show.

The Spouse/Companion Package costs $139 and is for non-industry employed spouses or significant others. Fees include access to the 2-day trade show, one buffet lunch on the day of your choice on the show floor, the opening General Session, the Annual Reunion Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Island H2O Live! Party.

The Child Package costs $19 and is for children 18 years of age or younger who are not working in the industry. Fees include access to the 2-day trade show, the Opening General Session, the Annual Reunion Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Island H20 Live! Party.

If you have additional questions about either of these packages, please call the WWA Office at +1-913-599-0300.

  • I am not a WWA member. Can I attend the show?

Yes, absolutely. Of course, we encourage anyone registering for the WWA Show to consider becoming a member because our year-long member benefits are great and we offer a substantial discount on our Symposium Package registration to our members. Also, membership covers the park facility, so joining the WWA will enable you and all your employees to register at the member rate.

  • Is any transportation provided to events? Where do I go?

We will provide shuttle transportation to and from the Annual Golf Tournament on October 7th, the Annual Reunion Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on October 8th and the Island H2O Live! Party on October 9th.

For the Annual Golf Tournament the shuttle will pick up at the Convention Center Porte Cochere outside the Coronado ballrooms J & K at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The shuttle bus will depart promptly at 7:00 a.m., so please plan to be waiting on the bus by that time.

For the Annual Reunion Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park shuttles will load at the Convention Center Porte Cochere outside of Coronado ballrooms J & K with the first bus loading at 7 p.m. The shuttles will run continuously between the waterpark and the hotel until the end of the event.

  • I am a speaker. Where do I go and pick up my credentials?

We appreciate how hard you as a speaker work to get ready for the WWA Show and for your presentations, so we’ve set aside a special Speakers’ Lounge just for your use during the WWA Show. Simply report to Monterrey 2 located in the convention center attached to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to sign-in, pick up your name badge, manual and other show materials. This space will also have a copy machine for last-minute handouts and a computer to make final changes to a presentation.

  • What is the dress code at the WWA Show?

We recommend you dress for comfort when attending the educational sessions or walking the trade show floor, especially in the shoe department. Classrooms can be cool, so bring a sweater or a light jacket.

For evening events, feel free to dress up however makes you happy. The average temperatures in Orlando in October are 68 degrees as the average low and 85 degrees as the average high. Remember, that the Annual Reunion Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Island H2O Live! Party will be outdoors, so plan to have a jacket to put on as the  temperatures might drop a bit throughout the evening.

Remember that Orlando is known for its pop-up showers, so packing an umbrella might be a good idea. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a large complex with many pretty outdoor areas to walk or grab a snack.
