A veteran of the waterpark industry, Sonia Munoz has served in many roles throughout her career. What started as a summer job at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels became a true passion. She has been involved with waterpark development, attraction development and park operations throughout her tenure with NBGS International, Schlitterbahn and Big Rivers Waterpark and Kalahari Resorts. As an educator, her passion is creating future industry leaders which keeps her actively involved at Kalahari Resorts, where she currently works. Every day is a new day to learn something new. Â Munoz currently serves on the WWA’s Education Committee.
