Rebecca Lance

Rebecca Lance is an Aquatics Assistant Recreation Supervisor for the City of Lynnwood Parks and Recreation division. With over 18 years of aquatic experience from frontline lifeguard up through the role of Supervisor, she’s fulfilled every aquatic role through her tenure with the City of Lynnwood and two other facilities. As supervisor, she and her team are in charge of 130+ ever changing part time staff, 5 bodies of water including a hydrotherapy pool, a competition lap pool, a lazy river and two slides, and maintaining the daily operations of their backroom including changing gas chlorine tanks. Through their facilities dedication to promoting water safety, over 2,000 students a quarter learn to swim through group swim classes, and quarterly free water safety fairs in conjunction with a swim voucher program reach low income families to promote safety throughout the community.
