Ray Lauenstein

Ray Lauenstein is Vice President of Planning and Development at Aquatic Development Group (ADG), with more than 25 years of experience in aquatic and recreation facility design, construction, operations, and management. He brings an operator’s perspective and a strong understanding of guest experience, marketability, and financial performance to the planning and development of successful leisure destinations. Lauenstein’s experience spans resorts, indoor waterpark hotels, surf parks, wellness facilities, sports complexes, amusement parks, and outdoor waterparks. He has spearheaded due diligence inspections, feasibility and master planning, attraction programming, equipment sizing and specification, total project budgeting, and project and program management for developments ranging from $2 million to more than $200 million. At ADG, Lauenstein helps owners and development teams transform early-stage ideas into viable, buildable projects by aligning the guest experience and operating model with the program, budget, and long-term business objectives.
