Matt Cappello, P.E., Director of Design at Landmark Aquatic, brings more than 20 years of expertise in aquatic planning, design and facility assessment. A licensed Professional Engineer in more than 40 states, he has managed and directed the design of over 300 commercial and public-use aquatic facilities, representing multi million dollar projects across the United States and internationally. Cappello plays a central role in shaping Landmark’s continued legacy of innovation and community impact. In addition to private and municipal water parks, his project experience includes military training complexes in Guam and Japan, university competition pools, rooftop amenities in New York, community recreation centers and therapeutic facilities. He is an active voice in the aquatics industry, frequently presenting at national conferences and trade shows on topics ranging from energy efficiency and design standards to restoration strategies. His expertise ensures every project balances creativity, efficiency and safety while delivering aquatic environments that inspire and serve communities for generations.
