George Panton is Vice President of Water Safety Products, Inc., a Florida-based international supplier of lifeguard uniforms and safety equipment since 1989. He began his aquatic career in 2003 as a Brevard County Ocean Rescue beach lifeguard, earning First Responder and USLA open water certifications. A graduate of the University of Denver, Panton’s post-college career included leading the pre-opening Souvenir Photography program at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and serving as the first merchandise manager for Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, where he oversaw interactive retail attractions, including the world’s first SplashQuest game. Since returning to the U.S. in 2013, he has led customer service, marketing, and product innovation at Water Safety Products. Panton has visited more than 100 waterparks worldwide, contributing to multiple award-winning products and expanding his expertise through industry training with Lead Brevard, Disney Institute, Ellis & Associates, NASCO, and more.
