Fran Sanchez is the Group Sales and Guest Relations Manager at Island Waterpark in Fresno, California. She began her waterpark journey in 2021 as a cabana server, and through her hard work, team spirit, and willingness to jump in wherever needed, she quickly became a vital part of the Island puzzle. Fran earned her degree in Kinesiology from Fresno City College, where she also played collegiate softball, an experience that shaped a deep sense of competition, resilience, and teamwork, qualities she brings to every aspect of her role. Her leadership is fueled by a positive mindset and a belief in celebrating the little moments that make a big difference. Whether she’s organizing large-scale group events, leading guest experience initiatives, or developing operational strategies, Fran’s passion for creating memorable experiences drives her success.
