David Sangree

David J. Sangree, MAI, CPA, ISHC, is President and Founder of Hotel & Leisure Advisors, an international hospitality consulting firm specializing in feasibility analysis, appraisal, and valuation. His expertise includes hotels, resorts, indoor waterpark resorts, waterparks, amusement parks, and family entertainment centers. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Sangree has studied more than 4,000 properties across all 50 states and internationally, including more than 1,000 waterpark resort studies since 1999. He is an MAI-designated appraiser, Certified Public Accountant, and member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants. Sangree has been recognized by Aquatics International as one of the industry’s most influential professionals and received the WWA Executive Board Award in 2016. He was inducted into the WWA Hall of Fame in 2022.
