Dave Andrews Jr. is the General Manager of Soaky Mountain Waterpark in Sevierville, Tenn. Having operated parks from coast to coast and middle to east Tennessee, he is proud of the success he has been a part of while rebranding, rebuilding and building new waterparks. Transferring from his home park in Virginia Beach to Palm Springs, he rebranded Soak City Palm Springs as Wet’n’Wild Palm Springs and led the team and park for almost five years. As General Manager of SoundWaves at the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Andrews established an award winning brand new attraction with an unparalleled experience. He was the face of the park known as “SoundWaves Dave” and brought a new dynamic to an iconic resort. He is settling in as the General Manager of Soaky Mountain Waterpark bringing his leadership and expertise to not only establish the brand, the park and park culture, but to successfully push the park through an inaugural season amidst the global pandemic. Andrews has a B.S. in mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College and a MBA from Liberty University.
