Ken Handler

Ken Handler, President of Global Management Amusement Professionals (GMAP), has more than 35 years of experience in the amusement and waterpark industry. An owner of Raging Rivers Waterpark and Splash City Adventures, he combines hands-on park ownership with consulting experience spanning more than 100 waterparks worldwide. Handler specializes in full-park operations, customer service, food and beverage, revenue optimization, staffing, and guest experience. Through GMAP, he works with ownership groups, general managers, municipalities, and private operators to launch, revitalize, and improve amusement facilities while developing the leaders who operate them. WWA has recognized Handler as a frequent industry speaker and award recipient for excellence in marketing, programming, and innovation. He currently serves on the WWA Food & Beverage Committee and previously chaired the Technology & Innovations Committee.
