Joe Stefanyak

Joe Stefanyak is Vice President of Education and Integrated Technology Services for Ellis International. He began his attractions career in 1985 with Kennywood Entertainment Company and later spent 15 years as Waterpark Manager at Sandcastle Waterpark before serving as Director of Operations at Idlewild & SoakZone. At Ellis International, Stefanyak oversees education and training curriculum and Integrated Technology Services while supporting more than 900 clients and nearly 4,000 aquatic facilities worldwide. His work includes training, inspections, operational aquatic safety audits, and evaluation of facility emergency action plans and standard operating procedures. Stefanyak is active with numerous industry organizations, including WWA, IAAPA, and ASTM, and has contributed extensively to Model Aquatic Health Code initiatives. His industry honors include WWA’s Kelly Ogle Memorial Safety Award (2014) and Al Turner Memorial Commitment to Excellence Award (2022), as well as recognition among Aquatics International’s Power 10 (2022).
