Davis Columbus

Davis Columbus is a seasoned waterpark and surf park operator with a career spanning frontline operations, resort management, consulting, and large-scale attraction development. He began his career as a seasonal lifeguard at LEGOLAND California Resort and steadily advanced through roles in waterpark operations, attractions, retail, and hotel operations before rising to a senior leadership position. Building on his operational foundation, Columbus transitioned into consulting, supporting the development and opening of water parks, resorts, and aquatic attractions throughout the United States and internationally. His experience includes advising ownership groups and leadership teams on operational readiness, guest experience, safety programs, staffing strategies, and facility development. Today, Columbus serves as General Manager of the Palm Springs Surf Club, where he oversees all aspects of the property’s operations, including water attractions, food and beverage, events, guest experience, and surf operations. In addition to his leadership role, he continues to provide surf park development and operational consulting, helping emerging projects navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of the rapidly growing surf park industry.
