Sonya Mason has actively been taking on management roles within various types of business and volunteer settings for approximately 20 years, throughout 5 different states and 2 continents, and working with cultural and language barriers from multiple countries around the globe. Each situation has brought her in contact with unique settings, customers, co-workers, and employees. From Dollywood, to running a coffee shop and retail stores on Martha’s Vineyard, quick service with Sonic Drive-In in Austin, managing a coffee shop and launching a retail store in National Harbor Maryland, building an ExPat networking group of nearly 1,000 in South Korea, feeding 1500 students up to 3 meals daily in the 2nd largest school system in VA, and now her current role in the world of waterparks at SplashDown in Manassas, VA. Her experiences have led her to understand how integral food trends, diet inclusivity, and ease of production are to maximizing sales volume and customer satisfaction.
