McKenna Thayer is the Regional Group Sales Manager for Cowabunga Vegas Waterparks. She began her career as a County lifeguard in 2010. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she moved to California where she worked as an Entertainment Costuming Manager for the Disneyland Resort. After the pandemic and moving back to fabulous Las Vegas, she returned to her aquatic roots by joining the Cowabunga 2021 Team as a Guest Services Assistant Manager. Shortly after the season started, she received the opportunity to open Resorts World Las Vegas as the Pool Manager. After a year in the casino industry, she gladly returned to Cowabunga Vegas. She became the Group Sales Manager and assisted in tripling their revenue in 2022. Thayer is constantly thinking of new fun ways to promote the Cowabunga Vegas brand, innovating partnerships, and surpassing company goals.
