Kent Nelson has a diverse background in aquatics. Growing up in a family owned and operated aquatic facility, Nelson learned from a young age the ins and outs of daily operations, programming and the business of aquatics. A USA Swimming head coach for 20 years, Nelson was an NCAA Division III swimmer and diver. After college, Nelson returned to the family business to help grow the first privately owned aquatic therapy group in the country. Currently, Nelson serves on many national organization boards, including the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) where he is a member of the advisory council.
