Jim Kunau has three decades of experience in the theme and waterpark industry. Prior to working for Six Flags, Kunau was the Assistant General Manager at Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park, the fastest growing theme park in North America. During his tenure with Six Flags, he worked in various park-level management positions including Waterpark and Marketing Directors. He completed his Six Flag career as Corporate Director of Entertainment and Marketing. After leaving Six Flags, Kunau worked as a consultant working with parks in Hot Springs, Birmingham and served as General Manager at Hurricane Alley Waterpark and then General Manager at Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resorts. Kunau is currently General Manager of Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee, Florida.
