Lieutenant Jamie Brown is an eleven-year veteran of Law Enforcement. She worked in the Uniform Patrol and Motorcycle Divisions. Brown worked as a Domestic Violence Detective for four years before moving to the supervisor’s position of the Field Training Officer program. The FTO Division is responsible for training and transitioning cadets to Uniform Patrol, following their academy graduation. Brown is a Louisiana P.O.S.T. Firearms Instructor and an SSGT Defensive Tactics Instructor. She volunteers her time speaking and teaching safety classes for women’s groups within the community.
