Briana Massie is the Marketing Manager at Life Floor where a central pillar is making aquatic environments more accessible to a wide range of people. In this role, she encourages everyone to view the consumer experience from different perspectives so that all abilities can be celebrated through inclusive design. Over the past 10 years, she has volunteered for organizations working with children from a variety of backgrounds, such as Royal Family Kids whose mission is making moments matter for foster children. Her firsthand experiences with how diverse groups of children interact with and process stimuli have informed her ideas on creating environments suitable for people with a large spectrum of abilities. She works to remove bias and strives to consider the challenges others may face when interacting with spaces that have traditionally been designed with one type of ability in mind.
